Description:
Stick Control for the Snare Drummer by George Stone is a highly specialized practice book, dealing with just one branch of the art of drumming. It is an advanced book, consisting of a progressive, highly concentrated collection of rhythms, arranged in calisthenic form, which, if practiced regularly and intelligently, will enable one to acquire control, speed, flexibility, touch, rhythm, lightness, delicacy, power, endurance, precision of execution and muscular coordination to a degree far in excess of his present ability.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Incredible finger / hand control technique builder. Long been a "must-have" book.
Cons:
None. Deals with only one aspect of drumming, but does it 100%.

Stick control is written for one thing. Yes, you guessed it. It combines every possible combination of singles, doubles, triples and rolls into a page-by-page technique builder that will absolutely improve your drumming, no matter what level or ability.
It is a prerequisite to have a basic knowledge of drumming, but armed with that, by the time you're done with this book you'll sound like a pro.
I have personally seen a *lot* of drummers (particularly pipe band, though this book is chiefly a rudimental book) use this to completely change the way their hands move (in a good way), including some G2 and G1 folks.
I would recommend this to anyone and everyone serious about improving their snare drum technique.
