Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Just about every flam, drag, diddle, etc. rudiment you could ask for
Cons:
Not for the person without a strong base of fundamentals

This book has a distinct purpose, which isn't teaching the beginning player. For a person with a solid base, this book can help you expand your vocabulary greatly. The book is segmented nicely into chapters and offers a little bit of guidance in attempting to learn all of the rudiment variations. One of my problems with the book is that it can be confusing to find what's the rudiment and what's the builder occasionally if you don't look carefully since the music tends to sort of run together, but if you pay good attention, it's not an issue.

This is a really great book for the avanced snare drummer, to push them into the next level. It covers well over over 100 hybrids, and covers the single hand isolation as well. There is no other book like this out there. It is seperated into 3 units, with sub-sections in between. From cover to cover, this book is a challenge. To top it all off, it ends in an awesome snare ram, and 2 fantastic solos!!!!!! A must.
