Positive aspects of the product (pros): Many great and famous BD exercises and music excerpts
Cons: Tenor stickings non existent on some music

Excellent source of fun things to play, such as Ditty, triplet partials, and excerpts from music such as the tenor solo from Caribe. Only thing I would like is tenor stickings in Ditty, because there are none. However, it's still awesome. Buy this book, it's a lot of fun.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): tons of great excercises
Cons: falls apart easily

This book is pretty intense, it includes all the BD greats! With a little comment on each from Scott Johnson, this book provides the ultimate insight into the Blue Devils world famous drumline. The excercises are tough and challenging, as expected from such an amazing line. So prepare to get a serious chop workout if you get this one!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great insight, lots of wonderful exercises
Cons: Not much show music

This is a great book the includes a plethera of great exercises for players leveled intermediate to super-nutso-gutso. The exercise range from eights and double beats, to flam-accents and sprees. It includes the famous Blue Devils 60-second warmups; Ditty and 13th hour, and it has exerpts from some of the best moments in Blue Devil drumming in the late 90's. The only problem I have with this book is that I was hoping it would have more show music (like full pieces) and music from more recent show music (like from the 99 show and 01 show which were my most recent favorites).

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Tons of great music
Cons: Outdated

Shows, exercises, on-field warmups - this book's got it all - and its hard to stop playing it. This book is a better value than most other of its kind, but the material is from the mid-late 90's. Nothing against that music, I said I liked it, but it would be nice to see an update.
