Description:

Modeled after Ralph’s Signature snare sticks, this concept is a great addition to the Corpsmaster® line of marching drumsticks and mallets.
DCI Hall of Fame member Ralph Hardimon explains, "Marching percussion arrangers have been exploring the use of sticks on tenors for several years now. The feel of the stick itself is desirable, and the sound tends to be bolder than a mallet. The great thing about this stick is that it has a feel that resembles my snare stick with a shorter length that is more comfortable for a tenor player to use."
The Ralph Hardimon Tenor Stick features a full-sized shaft with an exceptionally large barrel tip. The thickness of the shaft assures a big sound and longevity. And with the oversized tip, it produces more clarity than mallets, especially with the "inner beats". In hickory.

Good all around stick for tenor lines. Shorted shaft makes it more comfortable for tenor players then snare sticks. Large bead totally increases projection. If your looking for a stick to cut through any ensemble situation this is it!

Their perfect for outdoor and indoor use. I've been using the same pair for about 6 months now and they are still in good condition.

When I got these sticks I have to say I didn't like them at much. They seemed too light and too short. I was using Snare Hardimons and Tom Augnst sticks. But after using them i really started to like them. They are great for 8,10,12,13 size tenors. My instructor has them, but i gotta get em back because they are awesome

these are wayyyyyy better than Vegas
however, the "snare" Ralphs are much better. get a more crisp sound w/ better control
these sticks do have good control, but sometimes feel awkward.
for a good, light, crisp sound that you want from sticks w/ the best response, but from sticks specificly made for tenors, go w/ these. if you want the best feel AND sound, go w/ "snare" Ralphs

These are pretty good. I'm not too big on the weight, though. The real big bead gives good projection. They can feel a bit awkward in a way, but you get used to them. Because of the weight, this can be a good stick to build tenor chops with. The biggest complaint I have, though, is the length. If it were just at least half and inch or even a full inch taller, these would be great.

Sound good on a marching snare. MHS drumline switched this year from Delucias because of quality in sound. Good for a "game-stick" not quite as good for a stick to build endurance and chops with though. Overall its a good stick though

Good quality sticks, well balanced and matched. Same as with the swizzle sticks, the weight is both good and bad in that it projects a little too much, but is good in large bands or outdoor settings. Compared to ralphie nylons, the sound is warmer, fatter and a little less focused. It's a fairly close comparison, though. Overall I'd go with the swizzles if possible, but these are a good and cheap buy.
