These are the same stick as the FS CM, the colin McNutt's. But McNutt is now indorsed by Vic Firth. This stick has spectacular head responce due to the short taper and the reverse tear drop. One of the best sticks I've ever played with. They make the drum do the work for you, so to speak.

I really like these sticks a lot. They're also very quick; the taper and reverse tear drop give you excellent control in various dynamic levels. Wether it be 3" rolls or 15" singles, these sticks definitely take a load of unnessecary work off for you. This is my first experience with Innovative Percussion, and I'm impressed to say the least. The Glassmen Drum And Bugle Corps' snareline use these sticks, and so should you!

Pros:
REBOUND, sound quality, control in rolls, size
Cons:
sometimes a little too much rebound.

This is an awesome stick. Produces probably the best sounding sound I've ever heard. Great response, and a hell of a lot of rebound. If you play a lot of rolls, this is your stick. "sticking out" rolls can be done and any tempo, and your roll quality will improve with these sticks. Very articulate, all around great stick. Get you some

Pros:

Great Response, Good for Titled Drums, Good Rebound
Cons:
Too light, Kind of hard to handle.

These are good sticks. There's just a few problems before I get to the good stuff. They give off a very dark sound, very loud as well. But the sustain on them is very short, and shows dirt very easily when you aren't playing together.
Now, I think they are too light, they don't have enough rebound for my personal liking, but they do have a good amount.
They are a good all around stick. Not too good for tap/accent stuff. Great for double beat, great for FF passages. But they really have a problem staying controlled. You really have to grip them to get them to go where you want.
I played them on a titled drum for my high school season one year. They are great sticks for titled drums. I enjoyed them on the tilt much more than flat. But I still think ralphies should be used for tilt.
I would not recommend these sticks because there is really nothing exciting about them. They are just your all around stick. Which could be good for beginners, They just don't do enough for me. And they don't come matched hardly AT ALL.

Pros:
nice rebound and shaft NO PAINT
Cons:
a little light for my taste
I really enjoy these sticks. They have a nice full rebound and are incredibly articulate. They give this dark, dry sound that I personally like. One of the best things about this stick is the lack of paint. With most places still using VF you either have to tape all the way or deal with the slippery sticks when your hands get sweaty. Excellent stick, I definitely recommend it. Although if you're wanting something heavier, I suggest something from the Vic Firth selection
