Dont retain shape

This product is an awesome pair of mallets. Like I said these mallets have a beautiful, warm, rich sound that isn't easily achieved. The only fault is that they lose their spherical shape when played, which is to be expected but still kind of annoying. They still sound the same however. So really there is no downside.
