Pros: Holds the drum
Cons: Padding comes off easily, Rail is difficult to install, J rods can be difficult to adjust

This is possibly the biggest pain in the you know what harness EVER.

First off, it mounts to the drums by drilling the drums and putting bolts in them. Bad idea, period. I dont like drilling drums, let alone trust myself drilling a set of hundred+ dollar drums all for a carrier. You can use the t-bar carrier itself, but when we received ours, for some reason the staff decided to use the whole thing.

Also, even after the rail was on the drums, the drums really werent held together that well. They could turn crooked easily after setting them down and #2 would vibrate. The spacing between the drums was even worse. I'd rather be playing a pair of premier tenors, than a set of tenors with this mounting rail and harness, and that says alot.

Also, when the rail was on the drums and ready to be carrier, the jrods which have a hinge at te bottom are difficult to get an even angle on both sides, yet still fit the distance of the mounting holes.

Also, the xl lite carriers are fairly notorius for padding to start deteriorating, especially around the shoulders, and the top edge of the hip plate.

I would not reccommend these TENOR carriers under any circumstance.
