The Evans Corps Clear Marching Tenor Heads feature a 2-ply design with 6.5 mil top-ply and 10 mil bottom-ply that not only delivers clarity of tone over the drum but enables the drums to cut through the ensemble in clear and discernible pitches to reach out front and into the stands. The extra thickness (16.5 mil total) compared to standard tenor heads (14-15 mil total) make the Evans Corps Clear more durable. This added durability not only prolongs the life of the head but keeps them in tune longer.
