We just got these on our line's toms today and wow, that's all I can say. We switched from Clear Pinstripes to these. At first I was skeptical about them, since we've had no problems with pinstipes(other than durability) and I hadn't heard any good things about them. But once all our toms had them, I could cleary hear a better tom sound. Much more focus, and much louder than pinstripes. We had a problem with projection, and I think these heads solved our problem. Recommend them 100%

These heads are great. I put them on my large Yamahas and the produce the best sound I've heard from any tenor head besides the Remo Suede. I have found that they last a lot longer than the suedes do. I would recommend the Frost heads to anyone.

We switched from Remo Pinstripes to these this past season, and I was very happy to get new heads that were not Pinstripes.
When I put them on my tenors, I was very happy with the sound, it was a good feel. It was awesome to play on after playing with Pinstripes, and it was very very cool.
However, after a while we found that we had to tune them much more often then we had to with the pinstripes. It seemed like they were coming out of tune much more often.
Honestly, in retrospect I would have rather had pinstripes (what I really wanted was Suedes) and I would not really recommend them.
