Positive aspects of the product (pros): good bounce, timbale-like sound, cheaper than mallats
Cons: break easier than most sticks/mallats

The Quadbale stick is a good implement to use for a sound in between quads and timbales (hence the name). These sticks have more bounce than the other tenor sticks, and feel great on a pad. The sticks produce a twangy sound that you can't get with most other sticks on the market. These are better suited for a special section of a show and not for an entire show, mainly because they are not as durable as vegas, hardimons, etc.. Even though they do not last as long as other sticks, they are definately worth a look.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): light, nice feel
Cons: less sound, break easily

The majority of my use with these sticks were on my pad.

The Good: I really really like the way they felt (felt being the key word). They are nice and light so its easy to get around, they also feel a little short, but I think they are pretty standard. Definitely good for younger players. The weight distribution is really nice. At first glance they may look awkward but they are really comfortable sticks to play with.

The Bad: The bead on one of the sticks broke in half. I hadn't used it for more than a week. There is also noticeably less sound from other sticks. Small shaft and bead combined with the weight attribute to that.

Conclusion: I still give them an 8 because they do feel great to play with as long as you've got the $ to replace them.
