Positive aspects of the product (pros): Budget friendly
Cons: not very durable, poor rebound, dead sound, not very well matched

My tenor line used these for the past two years (much to my dismay) and I had the unfortunate opportunity of using them. The handles are far too thick for a mallet (even though they're wood), and also because their wood they are not durable at all. The rebound is almost non-existent, you almost have to fight the mallet to get it to rebound. The sound leaves a lot to be desired, its dead, almost pulling no resonance from the drum. The mallets are way to heavy, especially when taped. I would recommend ANY aluminum shafted mallets over these. In my opinion, these SUCK.

I guess the only pro I can find is that they cost less than the aluminum mallets. The Innovative Percussion version of these is much better. But, if you need something made of wood, use a stick!
