Positive aspects of the product (pros):

Solid, balanced, good quality.

Cons:
|
Tends to feel heavy

I got tired of using the sticky electrial tape-wrapped old mallets my school has, so I went to the local music store and bought a pair of Mike Balter MM2 (lexan tip) multi-tom mallets. They're good mallets, very well-built, solid, have a good, bouncy feel to them and have a solid attack.
The only problem I can think of is these mallets feel heavy, so you have to get used to the feel to play fast around your tenors, but I'm getting the hang of them.
These are great mallets, and hope you find this review helpful. If you can find these, try 'em out.
The mallets retail for about $44.00, but I picked up my pair for $22.00 because they were on the shelf for over seven years!
