Description: Keepin’ up with the Jonz ‘05” follows the 2005 Santa Clara Vanguard drumline from parking lot to parking lot, across the country to capture what happens before the show actually begins inside the stadium. These parking lot warm-ups are a show amongst themselves and we captured the action in Stockton, San Jose, Dallas, Houston & San Antonio.
With the incredible success of the Fred Sanford High Percussion Champion 2004 line, and everyone’s curiosity about this “matched-grip” thing... there was never a shortage of people anxiously waiting to see what SCV was up to in 2005.
Included on the DVD are over 30 minutes of up-close footage of the drumline going through their warm-ups, and excerpts of the 2005 Santa Clara Vanguard production, “RUSSIA: Revolution~Evolution”.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Awsome sound and video.
Cons: None at all:-)

1st day I got this I pop it right into the DVD player and watched the whole thing through. It's AWSOME! Only wish they had Electric Wheelchair and other cadences and things in it. But other than that it was awsome:-) Totally worth the 25 bucks!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): it's the SCV drumline. how much more positive can you get? they rock.
Cons: jumps around in the middle of exercises. very repetitive. HORRIBLE editing

OMG. this DVD was such a HUGE dissappointment. after a pretty good video in 03, and an even BETTER DVD in 04, SCV flopped w/ Jonz 05.
the DVD jumps around in the middle of exercises constantly. for example, you'll see part of spanks, then the middle of basic strokes, and then the end of flammus or cheesy poofs. makes absolutely NO SENSE AT ALL.
also, there are some really poor attempts at gimmicks. for example, the slow motion and lightning bolts emmiting from the snares arms at the end of triplet rolls. OMG. that was retarded.
this video is NOT worth the $25.
there is nothing wrong w/ the actual drumming. i LOVE SCV, and always will. that's why i haven't thrown this DVD away. they rock.
oh, the footage from the top of the Alamo Dome IS very cool, but you can't really hear anything, so that nullifies whatever positive effect there was.
basically, if you want a good DVD w/ good drumming, buy Jonz 04. NOT 05. if you wanna watch SCV drumline 05, then go ahead and buy it, like i did
