ETY•Plugs™ (ER•20 High Fidelity Earplugs) were developed to provide low-cost, one-size-fits-most high fidelity earplugs that can be used in a variety of noisy environments.
The goal of the ETY•Plug™ design was the same as for Musicians Earplugs: to reduce noise but preserve sound quality; in effect, to turn down the noise but not muffle voices, environmental sounds or music.
Comes with case and chain (as shown) and instructions.
Also available in different colors and with a removable neck cord. Cords (in multiple colors) are also available separately.

Having tried "regular" earplugs of various types (rubber, foam), these are truly impressive in comparison.
These plugs seem to filter out only the really high frequencies and to lower the volume while retaining most of the sound quality of whatever you're playing. It is possible to hold a normal conversation with these in your ears!
I don't know how they do it, but I can practice a part that varies from pp to fff indoors and the forte-fortissimo doesn't hurt my ears, yet I can clearly hear the pianissimo portions.
Note that these *do* filter out the really high, piercing frequencies, which is the only thing preventing me from giving these a solid 10.
