Description: These specially designed headphones drastically reduce the level of external sound reaching the musician's ears, offering valuable protection from potential damage. The SIH1 reduces overall noise levels by 24 decibels and features high quality stereo headphones. Unlike non-isolation headsets, where musicians typically crank the volume to very high and potentially damaging sound levels in order to hear the music clearly, the SIH1 reduces ambient noise from the instruments. This allows the musician to play along with the recorded music or monitor other performers in a live situation at comfortable and safe sound levels.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Focus sound, protect hearing
Cons: None

These headphones are amazing. I'm able to plug them into my CD player when I'm playing drumset and I don't have to turn the volume all the way up. I'm able to hear my drums and the music at the same time. Also, while playing on my marching snare, I'm able to hear all of the small details.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Ear proection, clear sound
Cons: durability issuses

I've made my line for the past 2 years use these headphones and I love em. It helps reduce hearing damage and it pumps the metronome right into their heads which has helped with alot of thier timing issuses. great for young & experienced lines to help fine tune timing and listening skills. only issuse i have is that the padding tends to pop out so you end up have to push it or glue it back in...minor annoyance. it is a decent investmenif you have the cash to spend.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Everything......
Cons: Power of music

These get the job done. I can work on my chops with my Pearl in my house with out hurting my ears, blasting my DB-90 to hear it. It works really well, but the sound isn't amazing. It works, but isn't the highest quality, nor as loud. Dispite that, I have no complaints about these headphones! Buy a pair if your serious about what you do, and want to save your ears!!
