Much better than foam earplugs and cheaper than custom fit musician's plugs, these are ideal for educational environments where students tend to lose or misplace their equipment.
Unlike foam plugs which are difficult to insert and retain dirt, these pre-molded plastic plugs are easy to insert and can be washed with plain soap and water. You can get them with or without a strap and with or without a carrying case. The carrying case comes with a small chain that can be attached to your drum, harness, or clothing for easy storage of the plugs when not in use.
These do a great job of cutting out the white noise while still leaving attacks clearly audible. They do dampen speech a little, but it's a small price to pay to save your hearing.
A must for fiber snare head players.

These are by far the best earplugs I've tried. In my opinion foam earplugs block out to much. These save your ears from gocks but still allow you to listen to everybody around you. You can still here people talk and I have no trouble communicating. If you can't afford the expensive custom ear plugs like me, I'd go for these. I wouldn't think of playing a marching snare without them.
