Positive aspects of the product (pros): internal muffle ring, 10 mm
Cons: no at this moment

we got these heads specifically for indoor. Only thing we did differently was add a little extra foam on the inside.

Sound wise these heads are warm, and tons of resonance. Hardly any over tones.

Looks, pretty similar to Evan's ultra white MX had.

conclusion: It definitely gives Evan's MX head a run for the money.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): muffle ring, heavy-duty
Cons:

We have used these heads for a couple of years at the HS I teach, and we love them. The heavy ply gives them an appropriate marching-bass sound, and the muffling ring allows us to not even have to consider that part of it anymore (which for school use is a blessing!). I'd recommend these to anyone who likes Remo and needs marching bass heads - period.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Built in muffling is great! Projects a great sound
Cons: Sounds slightly off to the players, not much though

Powermax's are great for any high school line where they don't want to worry about muffling yet still get a good sound. The sound can sound oddly boomy with a weird sound for players, but it's almost perfect for the crowd. Our basses switched from mx1's to these, and I don't think we're going back.
