Positive aspects of the product (pros): Very tough, nice rebound
Cons: Cheap production, uneven wood sanding, production dents, slippery paint, heavy

I used these for an entire season of Drum Corps. I marched the bottom bass.

At first glance, you can see the uneven production sanding. The thickness may differ mallet to mallet, as well as roll unevenly if you layed it down and rolled it.

It's very heavy. I remember coming home and grabbing my pair of Vic Firth bottom bass mallets, and noticed how much lighter they were, compared to my promark bottom bass mallets. I personally don't like a too-heavy stick, and found it to be difficult to handle.

The paint is slippery, and I found myself losing my mallets after an hour of rehearsing and playing. After a week of constant use, the grips of our mallets were caked with paint and dead skin and sweat. We had to sand them down.

Yeah. Not a lot of effort was put into the making of this mallet. Atleast, not quality effort. I don't recommend it for any line.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): none. other than the fact that it's a mallet
Cons: everything
