This product is not worth it. I used it on a pair of multi-tenor mallets, which the owner of the company said stick shield would protect. For the first week the stick shield worked, then it started to get spliced every time I did a rim shot. The rim shots still dented my mallets and the stick shield just made a mess out of my mallets, it was a pain in the but to take the stick shield off as well. Overall, its a no buy item. It didn't do what it claimed to do.
